As the world continues to warm, the weather in Australia is getting more extreme. At this FREE EmergencyRedi™ workshop, you'll learn about preparedness and begin your own emergency RediPlan®.

Arrive at 6pm for a FREE sausage sizzle at the CFS/SES Station

Activities include:

  • EmergencyRedi workshop for adults
  • Pillowcase workshop for children and other activities
  • CFS/SES trucks on display
  • CFS, SES and Australian Red Cross Mascots will join us for photo opportunities

EmergencyRedi workshop for adults (starts at 7pm)

You'll learn about your local risks and the practical, psychological, and social steps you can take to prepare for emergencies and minimise the impact of disasters on yourself and your loved ones. A representative from NRMA Insurance will attend this workshop to provide insights into the local risk/s that you might face in your town and surrounding areas.

Pillowcase workshop for children (starts at 7pm)

The workshop encourages children to be active participants in their own emergency preparedness. The content is useful for all kinds of emergencies and includes activities to highlight the importance of being prepared. Pillowcase helps to reduce real and imagined fears and has successfully built children’s stress management skills.
