SASES Volunteers Do Not Attend Fire Jobs
SASES volunteers are not responsible for extinguishing fires.
The agency responsible for extinguishing fires in metropolitan South Australia is the South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS). The agency responsible for extinguishing fires in regional South Australia is the South Australian Country Fire Service (CFS).
SASES volunteers work with MFS crews on Urban Search and Rescue activities and provide support to CFS crews fire grounds. Visit our What We Do pages to learn more about what SASES volunteers do.
