Cummins provides a storm damage and land search support to the Lower Eyre Peninsula. Many of the members do not live in Cummins and have to travel for incidents and training. The unit is currently building its capability to respond to vertical rescue incidents. Cummins is situated in the middle of Lower Eyre Peninsula.
